Filipe Gill was born in Lisbon in 1965.
He studied Economics and Graphic Design in the UK (Torquay School of Art & Design, University of Plymouth) where he lived for 7 years.
Filipe worked at various advertising agencies in the UK as Art Director and Graphic Designer, before returning to Portugal in 1992. Back in Portugal he co-founded Tux & Gill [www.tux-gill.pt] in 1994, talent agency Who [www.who.pt] in 1998 and runs Mediadellarte since 2000. He helped to launch Santiago Foods in 2005 and Gastronomic Culture and Wine Divine in 2015.

Filipe lives in Lisbon with his partner, Luísa, and their children.
